Sample Itinerary (Note:Schedule may change due to weather and other circumstances.)

Day 1:
    Arrive in San Jose/Pick up from Airport
    Sleep at Hostel Pangea (Youth Hostel)
Day 2:
    Drive to Aguabuena (can take from 4-10 hours)
    Meet homestay families
Day 3:
    Morning Orientation
    Meet Local high school group, Jovenes Ecologicos (Ecological Youth)
    Plan goals for the trip
    Group Lunch
    Free Afternoon
    Dinner with homestay families
Day 4:
    Work on reforestation projects (plant trees, collect seeds)
    Group Lunch
    Tour local farms
    Learn about tropical organic farming methods
    Dinner with homestay families
Day 5:
    Trip to local waterfalls with Jovenes Ecologicos
    Group Lunch
    Seminar discussing what we have learned
    Evening dance and party with Jovenes Ecologicos
Day 6-7:
    Beach Trip to Zancudo
    Camp on the beach
Day 8:
    Work on reforestation projects
    Group Lunch
    Free Afternoon
    Dinner with homestay families
Day 9:
    Rainforest Trip
    Collect Seeds
    Learn about Rainforest Ecology
Day 10:
    Trip to the Wilson Botanical Gardens
    Free Afternoon
Day 11:
    Trip to local caves with Jovenes Ecologicos
    Group Lunch
    Dinner with homestay families
Day 12:
    Wrap Up Day
    Morning Seminar discussing the trip
    Group Lunch
    Surprise Afternoon Activity
    Party and Dance with Jovenes Ecologicos
Day 13:
    Drive back to San Jose
Day 14:
    Fly back to US or stay in Costa Rica for more fun!

Costs

We require a minimum of 3 students per session and a maximum of 10. Students do not need to form their own groups, but it is welcomed and encouraged. Students may participate in more than one session if desired. We also encourage adult chaperones to join us.

For groups of 3-7:
